A good thin cutting wheel wil go through it like butter. Don't cut into the steering shaft though.
P.S. if you use a torch, dont heat the shaft, just the arm. You will ruin the seal most likely anyway though.

James, Your gonna have to use an oxy acetaline torch and burn that bolt out. I know exactly what a bitch it is to take those UCA's out. You have one of those? I can drive it up there with the one upper if you do. If not I may take 93xj up on that griswold trip. Gonna try my angle grinder on the pitman arm this evening, I figured the metal was too hard to try and cut but ill give it a shot I do
