Well I have the 33's on now with 4" lift. I see what I need to cut out as far as trimming goes. I need to do some bump stopping.
The front I an going to drill holes in 2 pucks and bolt them down on each side. I figure that should be enough.
In the rear, my factory bump stops rotted off so I am going to make some. Any suggestions on how long they should be? Phil could chime in here, we are about the same height and back spacing.
Thanks David

don't ask me...for a while i wasnt running bumpstops at all, but some people add one inch of bumpstopping per inch of lift.

you can get 4.1" rear rubber bumpstops from quadratec for like $8 each. Im running those with dpg adjustable bumpstop plates. for $80 they are well worth it. never have to fiddle with bumpstops for the rest of your jeeps life/lift/tire setups. Or if you have the facilities to cut metal and drill holes make your own!.

I can manage to cut some metal I think. So 4.1's and make some leaf spring retainer plates. Sounds good.

Yp you can but the ones for an Up-Country package which are 4.1" or non Up-Country Cherokee bump stops which are 2.9". Quadratec has these.

I already ordered the 4.1 ones from quadratec when sam posted them. I think if I bolt them to a 2"x2" square tube they should be about right. Ill have to compress it and then measure to know for sure.

I took my stock ones and bolted them up to 2x2 square tube and it does the trick for me

duno I had probably less than 4" and maybe 1/2" of bumpstopping and my 33's perfectly tucked and barely rubbed, if at all.

Well no, my leaves can invert probably more than anyones in the club because theyre basically flat now. meaning I probably have more upward movement than anyone, and I wasnt tearing sheet metal, i just trimmed enough to make it work. either way flex and leaf pack life dont really go hand in hand

they are probably flat from flexing to the point where they were inverted, which drastically decreases the life of leaf springs.

Though if I were to get some xj rated leaves (200lbsish) ever again I would still take the flex over the longevity. lucky I dont have to worry about that with s10 leaves
