I just flat out dont know enough about the structrual shit on an xj to know whether or not im safe. I need chrome grill reviewed before i poor tons of money into her, anyone around norwalk that can check it out for me?

first rule of thumb, look for stress fractures around the steering box uniframe area, most common is right there.

got any rust/rot? fix it before you build plenty of rust, some on the frame rails, duno which spots are safe and which arent. I could care less about body rot, as long as my leafs arent going to end up in my back seat next time I wheel.

my buddies d pillar separated frm the rest of the unibody due to rust and shattered his rear hatch from overflexing the unibody. you should worry about body rot
