i had the aussie and the noslip and a spool "(as a result from the noslip being broken) i liked the spool the best. the no slip is quiet yea but its got alot of parts and as jeff likes to point out more parts = more "stuf te brake" the no slip is far more difficult to set up right. the aussie does the same thing for less just makes a little noise i only ever felt it unload a couple times and its nothing that i would even give a second thought to

Um.. My front aussie doesent make any noise really. Or at least, if it does, there is so much noise around here, and my stereo is always on, I have never heard it.
Only time I heard it, was when I had the front end off the ground and I spun one of the front tires, and it clicked 3 times and then locked them togeather, which is cool.
Aussie is cheaper, and from what I hear, very reliable.

aussie is a good temp. fix for a couple season i dont think it will last all that long though. i no when i pulled mine outta my d30 it was scored up really good . it still works for the guy that bought it from me . but i dont see it lasting all that much longer. i did drive pretty hard on it and beat the shit outta it thought , so i dont really no i would get another one to b locker for $250though
