Anyone know where to get pre drilled front bumper mount plates? I'm talking about the ones that mount down the frame rail past the steering box. I will be making a bumper and I'm just too lazy to trace out my frame. Thanks.

Thanks. you may be able to buy em from marty at rocklizard www.rocklizardfabrications.comor maybe shoot the guys at JCR a mail www.jcroffroad.comor make it yo'self www.twisted-halo.com/digicam/xj/Bumper%20mount.pdfall the holes there are right except for the front 2, they are a bit too far forward(at least on my XJ they were a good inch or so) so ull wanna double check for those, just measure them against the other holes in the diagram on ur jeep.

Cool, thanks. Yeah maybe I will do it myself. Do you know if both sides have the same hole dimensions? If so I can just trace my steering box brace for both sides and add a few holes up front. I'm thinking 1/4", sound right?

1/4" plates is spot on for mount plates. if you do d-ring tabs, weld them direct to the mount plates, and make them 3/4" tabs. but yeah the brackets are identical for both sides, sorry i keep movin ur stuff lol, this has just become more of a tech thread you can see how we did it on mine
