Ok guys I have a question and im sure someone will know the answer.
I am gearing to 4.88.. I have a Stock D30 with 3.55 and a Ford 8.8 with 3.73's LSD.
What do I need to buy so someone can make them both 4.88's
I need:
Master Install Kits for both 4.88 Gears for both Carrier for D30
Do I need a new carrier for the Ford 8.8?
Am I forgetting anything?

i am pretty sure you dont need a new carrier for the 8.8, but i would call up one of the company's and ask them just to be safe.

skip the carrier or go full detroit! or possibly a nice selectable unit. you will get sick of having half of your big tires not spinning.

get your gears and such at www.dc4wd.com. Give DC a call he'll hook you up on the cheapest prices available anywhere. pretty much guaranteed. i think i got gears front and rear, with master install kits, with carriers, for 360 shipped and he knows his stuff so if you have any questions he can help point you in the right direction on your purchase
