nah not really. the only thing I reallly agree with in reguards to moderation is either personal business being brought out, which is why we have PM system, and nudity, as it's simply inappropriate and this is not a porn forum whatsoever. Spamming the forum is definitely annoying, so if you're post whoring or are bored, we don't need posts like "Hi" : "Discuss"
that's just me, other then that Free Speech, baby.

applied to my last post, there's common courtesy, THE law, and then spamming which only the spammer likes.. pretty minimal in regards to personal taste. What, two requests?

Say whatever you want about any political figure, that is fine.
If the topic becomes a pissing match it either goes to the cage or it gets deleted.
We simply ask that all political discussions remain civil.

what constitutes a pissing match? if providing facts, moreso then opinion, i cannot agree with you, there. Bringing facts to the matter is a positive thing. if it's like "this is the best guy cause... I know he is.." - then smash that banhammer all you want..

A pissing match is none of which you describes, instead to us a pissing match is like Cage Match 'Lite', when a debate goes sour and personal attacks, unnecessary language and inflated egos get in the way of what the topic at hand. If you bring facts to the table, be sure to back them up. Don't just say 'Obama has no left foot' without proper medical records or documentation. If you cannot back it up, don't get an ass rash when we disprove it. Are the people here capable of an intelligent, civil discussion rather then lashing out at others who disagree? I myself will be from now on... You? |

as for what was said about the topic, my only question is why does this rule only apply to politics? Why not religion, or sports, or sexuality? if i said someone is an uneducated halfwit abercrombie wearing douche bag, because he likes *** party, why is that worse than saying the same thing about someone who likes baseball or fords. (please note the insult was self censored for public good).

(please note the insult was self censored for public good). the same rule applies to anything, it just so happens politics is common enough that it needs to be singled out in the ruling. if people get in a fight on the forum to this degree, it will now be dealt with honestly its really getting old everytime a decisions made now everyone has to say "well if u do this THEN WHY NOT THAT??" please, people. |
