the cables are in the far right corner... but even still... you are correct. this guy probably pulls his lever and is like ok my ebrake works... meanwhile his pads are probably mal-adjusted

Honestly can't see why the rod wouldn't work just as well in the straight shot that it is oriented in right there.

hell yeah! Zip tie city! That's how I kept my exhaust from rattling again my unibody. After about 200 miles they got too hot and melted though. That's when I built coat hanger city, and that's the current set up.

looks like the threads on the rod at the end that goes threw the black metal pice are filed off its smooth
