to the OP... I would not feel bad at all if you ruined the guys life... what if he killed someone or an entire family travelling in their car together?
I was driving one night down the highway and had a similar thing happen, the guy in front of me was switching between three lanes for no reason. There were no cars to pass or go around so I dunno what he was doing. The first chance I got to pass him I did and just watched him in my rearview mirror. He would speed up to like 80mph then slow down to like 40 and continue to switch lanes over and over. there like 5-6 times that I looked in my rearview and saw him almost sideswipe different cars taht were passing him.
