so anyways, bring it to get emissions before you go to dmv, so you dont have to waste time and money on a temp.

whats the temp cost anyway, do u know? it all depends on how long you get a temp plate for.. 2 weeks to 30 days i think.. but i think its still atleast 30 bucks... the emissions places dont care if your car is registered or not..

i wish i had known that yesterday...i dont have any plates or anything for the car i assumed thatd be a no go for emissions...

find the closest shop to you call them explain the situation and throw your plate on from the jeep take a quick trip there and back

so having passed ct emissions with no ct regitsrtaion or title on the same day as im regging it wont raise eyebrows at the dmv?

you towed it.
and don't take a plate from your jeep, it's double illegal to have no plate + a stolen (not for the vehicle the plate is registered to) plate on your unregged vehicle vs. no plate.

thought about the "towed it" option. i think ill do it. the DMV is 500 yards from here and the emissions test station is about the same..all within a half mile.

thats how i was weighing it...but anyway..im takin the plate off and drivin to the emissions center down the road... thanks guys for the tippery ..save me a few doll hairs in the end
