THATS RIGHT, I SAID IT!
Well after all these threads recently about golf and nascar, it got me thinking. Is wheeling really a sport? I know everybody on this site will want to say OF COURSE IT IS right off the bat because its what we all are on this site for. But ive heard some arguements lately on the other threads that can also be said for wheeling. So seriously think about it, you can also retract your vote.

no wheeling is not a sport. however, rockcrawling is, like WEROCK. x2 Explain why wheeling isnt, but WEROCK is? To me they seem pretty much the same. In wheeling sure we don't have teams and sponsors, but we still have to fix our rigs to get them off the trail if they break. Just because wheeling isn't competitive doesn't mean its not a sport. Plenty of people go to open gyms and play basketball for fun, doesn't mean they arent playing a sport.

I see what your saying but i work for a baseball facility, and people show up for lessons all the time and there is no score, no competition, none of what you just mentioned but i wouldn't say they arent playing a sport. The way i look at it rock crawling is the competition, wheeling is sortof the practice.

wheeling and wheeling in a comp is totally different...we trail ride, we dont ride a comp course with a cone setup and timer and so on...
thats like saying people who run to stay in shape are training for being a wide receiver

Basketball is a sport, working out with weights is not a sport. Wheeling is a hobby, do you train to go wheeling? Dont give me you work on your rig because that is not training. You are just wrong. bye
