We looked at those back in 2000 when my mom wanted a new car by she ended getting something a little bigger. I would rather have the next generation as I think they are pretty ugly but they aren't bad. Can't beat the fuel economy of one and all wheel drive but I think if I was goinng to keep the jeep I would get a more fun car as a daily driver but that's just me

I had a 02 wrx with a 2.5L jap motor swap around 320whp. The 5spds are sorta weak but mine held up just fine except for shit synchros going into 4th. The 6 speeds out of the sti's are bulletproof though.

I want to get a DD this within the next year and a half. I am seriuosly considering a WRX or a 2.5rs as long as its turbo. I would love to get a STI but I do not have the money for that.

My bro was big into subies. He had an 06 WRX with STI turbo and other factory STI parts, and tune, so it was quicker than stock sti's by quite a bit. The 2.0 turbos are pretty pathetic unless you do a bunch of work to them.....my bro test drove a bunch and they didn't impress me whatsoever. Bugeyes are HIDEOUS in my opinion, and I would never waste money on such an ugly car....looks like a dodge neon from the front!
As for the 2.5RS's, I actually like them. Nice looking little car, and I'm sure it would be fun if you got a stick. You really don't see them around too much, so it would stand out.

Great cars, i want one myself but the 2.5 tends to blow head gaskets, but once its fixed it will run forever. I want alex p's 2.5Legacy GT but i cant afford to buy it and fix the blown HG.
2.5 RS wrx 's are sick cars. the 2 doors are rare too.
