Yup, I sold my sled on Sunday morning. I was all happy at first, then a few hours later it occurred to me that I have no sled to ride for the first time in 10 years!So, out with the friggin junk X-package 2006 Rev Ski-Don't P.O.S., and in with a 2004 Polaris Pro XR 800. This will be my 3rd Pro X, but the biggest , baddest they ever made.It's pretty rough, needs some assembly, but I'll take half of a Pro X over a Ski doo any day! I'm all excited and just had to share. I'm going over to pay up this afternoon, so I'll try and get some pics up later on.  |

I liked my friends rev 800. Did you know that when you put a sled in reverse the motor stops and rotates backwards? I lost 10 bucks on that one.

So I bought it yesterday and remembered to bring the wife's new digital camera with me.I pulled it out of my pocket to get some shots and it wouldn't turn on. The battery was home on the charger. Lame. I hope to have it together and home in a couple of weeks. I'll get some pics up then. Sorry, I fail.

snowmobiles are bad-ass
at one of the harescrambles i used to race in. the track was around a lake. well in the lake people would take their snowmobiles and just have them at WOT and ride around on the water hitting jumps and stuff.
if they sank in the water (which happened not often), they had a boat with a winch on it and they just had someone swim underwater and hook it up.
oh and i had a ktm dirtbike that used to run backwards. if you kickstarted it JUSTTTT right it would fire up and spin backwards. it was interesting when you popped the clutch and your nuts hit the gas tank
