figure I might post some picts. Got the up-pipe all made and welded up, thanks Dave, made a bracket tonight to support the turbo, need to add onto it to be safe. I finished the oil pan with the oil return and the fittings for the oil feed. Need to mock up the downpipe and should be good to go. I made a heat shield for the battery too.

Pete if you can grab a 2" U bend by friday that would be good. That wastegate has to dump out the bottom.

That or Ill radius cut the 2 inch you have a weld it all together. Remind me to bring the chop saw on Friday.

I was just lookin at the dump for the external, its tight man.....I got a new blade for my shop saw too. i made the bracket to go off of the motor mount like we had talked about, i think it will be in the saw of the dump. might have to scrap it.

We can just recirc it. Its more of a pain in the ass but it will work.

Every vehicle we own is 4 wheel drive, Im not concerned.

lol I wouldnt be concerned about weather. do you think that is going to be too close to the distributor a/c compressor etc??? as far as heat goes? I might have some aluminum sheet to make a heatshield if necessary like the 505perf kit.

also how much boost will this run?

Did you get the oil pan tapped or no?

505 does not offer much for heat shield. they just have one for the turbo, it does not protect the dist. at all. i made one for the battery and it will be easy enough to make another one for anything else. everything else is covered is exhaust wrap to keep the heat down. the two coolant lines going to the heater core are covered in fire sleeve. i might get a heat shield for the starter if it starts giving me problems

ya i saw the wrap on the heater hoses... worst case scenario your heat works really really well

the downpipe and dump tube are done. wrapped them sat night and painted them. waiting on a few gaskets and a flex pipe for the exhaust. I will hopefully start it by the end of the week after i get the turbo flange gasket. I'll get some picts up tomorrow of everything in there.

good call, totally forgot about that. i really thought that the kit i got for the saab would have the turbo gasket, but nope. i ordered that and a new o2 sensor from rock auto last night.
