So i'm good friends with the guy who works at NAPA in Wilton, and a while back he purchesed a 1965 amc 287 out of a rambler, he was going to put it in his marlin but it ended up being to big and it's not a terrible disirable engine so he would be just junking it, but instead he's giving it to me for free, we finished getting it together the other day and had it Dyno tested and a intence 520 ft/lbs of torque at 2200rpms and 295 horses, i'm havign a company fab me up an adapter and it's getting dropped in when it's warmer/after i finish the stretch. So for now i will disassemble it and get it painted up, pics will be soon

I can imagine it would be tough to remove a 7/8 allen head bolt with only 4 inches of leverage. What is up with the wild colors? Other than that looks good
