radio works
welded to jeep
complete welding
radio broken
rear speakers make a pop once turned on, but thats it.
radio seems to work, but no sound.
effin gay
should i tear into it and try to ficks it? or should i try to get a new one via warranty?

You shouldn't have a radio in your jeep anyway: it drowns the symphonic chorus that is an offroad vehicle.

new ones are cheap enough, the model that replaces the one i have now is $105
jvc hd radio of sorts.
i want another jvc because they are still somewhat normal and i can just plug it in and go, don't need to make another wiring harness.
the ri warranty service place isnt far either prolly not open tomorrow. but i wanna drive my jeep and i want a god damn radio NOW.

my cd player is non existent as are all of my speakers. I want to be able to drown out the sounds of my d35 crying and other parts breaking.

The radio in my mj is some cheap brand with the built in XM. Works very nicely but i need new speakers.

ok so back to tech. i'd assume you fucked up some of the wiring or a ground due to the welding. so your radio is prob fine but the ground and wiring going to the speakers is fucked up. might as well check it out before buying a radio
