Awhile back my track bar came loose and for months i noticed i pop noise whenever i turned hard in either direction. The other day i finally remembered to check it out and i see that the mounting holes are wallowed out. The front one isn't an issue as i can weld a plate there easily, but the back hole is much worse than the front. So really I'm looking for advice, whether to drill a new hole farther back, or to remove some of the mount, weld a plate and rebuild the portion o the mount i had to destroy. Any opinions/solutions?

redrill new hole closer to the drivers side,
ideal for if you have a lift with stock trackbar, or if you have an adjustable, just adjust it.

my axle side bolt liked to loosen up and make popping sounds until i snugged it down and used some super lock tight. now the bracket that mounts to the body shifts a little and makes a popping sound. if the holes are wallowed out redrill and reinforce the new hole closer to the driverside

hmm I got the TB pop too. Ha hopefully it doesn't decide to shit the bed when my mom drives it from my house 2 miles down the road to the mechanics.

I hate track bars, my relocation bracket on the back was super gay and the bolts kept snapping so I welded it, now I gotta plate the front cause it's wallowed too.
What about filling the hole with weld and redrilling it?

burton, it is the rustys track bar, and i dont think i'd be able to fill it in well enough to redriull and not have the same thing happen again, 4banger's got a relocation bracket on his tj for almost the same reason but i've got jks disco's and part of the bracket connects to the stock threaded sway bar end
